Don't be silly we women have not chained ourselves to railing
outside 10 11 Downing Street for the right to have our pseudo-democratic vote totally disregarded by a bunch of brainless automatons of the state. Nobody should vote they're not representative of the people of this isle anyway.

my fantastic sister lived in new york for several years
One year around election time they had pollsters in the street, asking people who they would vote for.
After the fourth or fifth day of telling the same guy at the same bus stop that she was English and couldn't vote she decided to wind him up by pointing out that it was LUDICROUS to ask her how she would vote as she was a woman, and civilised countries don't let women vote. Her insistance that it wasn't allowed in England made him confused and scared.
