# The official title is 'Facade', but I prefer 'Space Pope'

Click for bigger

Click for full size (3500x3500, 2.7M) - not recommended as you can see all the rough shiteness of it

Edit: In case you're wondering, the Kanji on the banners means 'Admiration and Devotion' on the left, and 'Fear, Terror' on the right. Unless the internets lied to me.

# why is the official title the one you don't like
(, Sun 29 Mar 2009, 2:20, archived)
# Because "Space Pope" isn't very professional,
and I want to feel professional.

# I don't understand.
Is it the top of a building, or a spaceship going all *pshoooooooooosssshhhhhhhhhhhvvvrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmdugadugadugaduga*?

# Top of a building which has a waterfall coming out of it for some reason.

# Ohhhhh right and that's the pope standing on the very top, I presumed he was some kind of ecclesiastical intergalactic bounty hunter.
Also the front nose bit, or whatever you would call it now I've realised it's a building and not a spaceship, needs shifting to the left a fair bit. The long shadows are pretty much your central line, so the horizontal component on your nose should follow that.

# I know, I noticed that but I couldn't be bothered to start over.
I left it like it is now :D
It took way too long as it is, so yeah.
Either way, I'm pleased with it as a first attempt.
I've been reading Bold Visions by Gary Tonge these past couple of days and it made me do that^

# You can always just draw a basic toblerone shape for things like that if you can't quite do it in your head.
Personally I have more trouble with anatomy and getting poses and people even vaguely right without reference.

# that's quite interesting
also the internet will have lied to you. every single time a person who doesn't know a language attempts to use the language, it's always wrong. no exceptions.
