DISQUALIFIED! NO COOKIE.

also we were talking about Labyrinth on the weekend so the characters were fresh in my mind.
(there's a facebook quiz, which character are you.. I guess everybody wants to be Jareth)

# what a silly mistake.
Jareth? Why would everyone want to be that smarmy cunt?

I'd much rather be hoggle, he's humble.

# There's so many to choose from, though.
I'm tempted to choose to be Aêlst, the skald or Tale-Teller.

Aêlst is much sought-after to entertain at feasts and banquets. His store of ballads, yarns, anecdotes, chronicles, fables, epics, quips, sagas, histories, elegies, satires, legends, romances, adventures, sketches and tales of battle is seemingly interminable - as indeed are the stories themselves. Another thing that distinguishes the compositions of Aêlst from those of almost any other skald or Tale-Teller is the fact that he never uses more than a dozen different words. To some extent this economical use of language explains the impression of interminableness induced by the recitations. The twelve words he uses are: lump, sparrow, like, the, was, roaring, gusset, scuff, limp, testy, bitten-off and rubbish.

do you have the Brian Froud Goblins book?
I haven't read it..

# Goblins of the Labyrinth (Terry Jones, illust. Brian Froud)
is one of the greatest books in the world, a really terrific book, which I have enjoyed for over 20 years. Sometimes when I leaf through the pages I can still catch a hint of the peculiar smell which first attracted me to it.

# STOP THAT!
Have you been keeping score? I think we're tied again,
as I got the last two mindpiss rounds to catch up to you.

Frankly, anything that exposes more of the Dogs
