I like this... but I'm not sure I understand the challenge (maybe it's early).

It appears perilously close to useless inventions?
Or companies branching into other areas?
Or any number of previous challenges.

Can someone exoplain it in words of one silly bull, ta?

It's to reinvent existing products with simple functions and make them perform ludicrously advanced tasks or be laden with superfluous gadgetry.
