hmmm. unfortunately from the description, that would make pedantichrist right (appropriately enough, given his name)since the dial goes UP TO four, this must be the maximum, and the drawing above is indeed 1/2, not 4 1/2...

NopeThe dial goes 1-2-3-4 (1 being the lowest), but sometimes has gone to 4 1/2. Read the comics.
