# It is scary when they have a stroke
Our dog had one, it is so worrying seeing them acting odd

# ^this
mines on his way out - 16 yrs old... loosing his eyesight, not that sturdy on his legs... the Vet said a few weeks ago, if he deteriorates much more, I can always bring him in at anytime to put him down. I was not happy with that.

He's not in pain, not distressed, eating fine, - the vet even confirmed that, so I really don't think so

# She was 12 when she had it, she couldn't stop moving her head or her eyes
We took her to the vets and he gave her a shot of some thing, she was fine after a few days and lived for another year

# His recovery was totally remarkable..
he was given zero chance of surviving it, we were all sitting in waiting for the 'end'. He the bastard is now acting like nothing at all ever happened. Not bad for a 16 year old Collie.

# Dogs are a lot stonger then people think
It doesn't really seem to phase them when things like that happen
