I didn't think the dog would understand my joke.
Seems he did, a little too much for my liking.

Well, someone might trip on a loose paving slab.
Or catch their fingers in a door, possibly?
Sorry, that's not what you meant, is it?

could well be a "Thing"
If I ever get another dog, it'll be a wolf-huskie crossbreed. Sure, it'll creep me out, worrying that it's face will peel back etc, but that are so cool

He went to the vets two months ago for a massive stroke.
The vet was amazed at his recovery considering most of his brain was melted. I said to the vet seeing as he has never used it, it's hardly going to affect him when it's gone.

Saw that one marching in with ill-deserved confidence from several miles away....

No, I did see a bit of that,
but was being distracted by a rather shapely brunette who (luckily) keeps visiting my office to ask me things...

8 whole english pounds.
I know I know I should have said something else like, because of, or due to, or something else 'correct'.
...but I didn't.
I could have. If I had wanted to.

^this
mines on his way out - 16 yrs old... loosing his eyesight, not that sturdy on his legs... the Vet said a few weeks ago, if he deteriorates much more, I can always bring him in at anytime to put him down. I was not happy with that.
He's not in pain, not distressed, eating fine, - the vet even confirmed that, so I really don't think so

She was 12 when she had it, she couldn't stop moving her head or her eyes
We took her to the vets and he gave her a shot of some thing, she was fine after a few days and lived for another year

His recovery was totally remarkable..
he was given zero chance of surviving it, we were all sitting in waiting for the 'end'. He the bastard is now acting like nothing at all ever happened. Not bad for a 16 year old Collie.

Dogs are a lot stonger then people think
It doesn't really seem to phase them when things like that happen
