That just reminded meFirst time I went to Uni I technically didn't get the grade - I needed AAA and got AABBB. It wasn't until I rang up to confirm my place that I thought about it, and had a really worried few minutes when the admissions guy said "oh you didn't get AAA? I'll have to go and check..."

I needed AAB and I got CCEIt was pretty much a given that I wouldn't get in.

Unlucky!Ultimately I benefited from taking on an extra a-level. I had a good friend who said I was a fool for doing it, but he got AAA and was turned down by 5 out of his 6 choices.
