# I was referring to the original post
I know what macaws are, I just don't know much about their loveliness.

I used to have a fairly rare yellow-browed amazon.

# He was really lovely

Would sit on my shoulder 'n all, and talk me into giving him bits of food. Eggs were his favourite.

# I just remembered his other hobby
When in his cage, he would call the cat in a really sweet voice, over and over again.
When the cat approached the cage, he'd noisily open his wings and smash his beak on the bars. He was laughing like a human while the cat jolted away.

I love how parrots laugh like they really get the joke.
