If you type the text...
...into a new layer - you can show it or hide it in each individual frame.
Not sure about the quality though - would have to see it.

Don't
actually remove the text layer. Make it non-visible in some frames by selecting those frames and using the "Layers" palette.

Hmm.
Try entering the text in Photoshop. It shouild come up as a new layer.
Then go back to Imageready to animate it by making the text layer visible in some frames (the eye symbol in the Layers palette", and invisible in others (click the eye to toggle visibility).
