# I hope they aren't arseholes about it
Most companies don't care about broken pixels

# As I said it's a cluster and it's a one week one monitor.
(, Tue 14 Jul 2009, 9:32, archived)
# Most places still count a cluster up to about 9 pixels as a single one though
It used to piss me off big style. I don't find many monitors with faulty pixels these days.

Fingers crossed they will replace it painlessly though

# Have you tried this sort of thing?
(, Tue 14 Jul 2009, 9:30, archived)
# Doesn't work
and it's a whole cluster ob about 30 of them.

# well with 30 of them, they HAVE to change it...
usually it's "5 px or more THEN it's faulty"

Happened the other day to me.. bought a PSP, one bad pixel, and GAME said "sorry, not faulty"

I kicked up a fuss to their head office and they swapped it...

# They should have swapped it straight away
I work for them, sometimes whoever you deal with is an idiot, best bet is to try taking it to another nearby store.
