I am working on a house that is 700 years old, been taking plaster off and the daub and plaster was the original

Some pre 18th C plaster is full of nasties up to and including lead, horsehair, and anthrax spores (I kid you not!)

It is all done, just got to replaster it now. Full of horses hair, the daub was mainly straw. The plaster was probably 300 years old, due to the room we are working in being an extension

We have to use lime plaster as it is listed, the place hasn't been touched for god know how many years
