Don't get me started on the hat drop system in TF2You so much as complain and someone says "Stop whining you'll get one eventually, they're free!" brilliantly ignoring that valve have been pimping them as a feature more and more.
A feature that 99% of people can't use. It'd be like EA releasing a guitar hero game where a load of tracks which can only be played on expert and then marketing with how great these tracks are.
