# Trying to get back in the hang of photoshop
Gimp handles very differently to something like CS
This character originally was meant to be using a garotte wire. Instead here I thought she should be packing heat.

# I love this
great as always!

# Thanks
It'll be a while before I'm pumping out anything more than quick sketches of robots or women with tits. I must go and learn more fundementals.

# I think
women with tits is fairly fundamental. ;)

# You could say that.
But there's more to drawing than tits...

# Vargas didn't think so.

# You don't mean....

Squirrels?

# And that.
Yes, more to it than squirrels. But I'm not the man to call when you want Squirrels...

# One from my DA
Because all the other ones got nuked when I had to factory reset my laptop.

Lost all me other pictures before a certain date.

# That's a shame, your drawings are great.
(, Sun 27 Sep 2009, 14:58, archived)
# No biggy. Most of them were crap anyway.
I'm trying to claw my way back into drawing confidently again. It takes getting used to.

# I like this because it doesn't look like your biggest/only influence is jollyjack
(, Sun 27 Sep 2009, 15:02, archived)
# I also like stuff by Bruce Timm
And Andrew Jones (Who did the majority of the concept art for the Metroid Prime games) and Tim Sale. Though a lot of those arn't too obvious in this one.

As much as I like Jack's work and style, I don't want mys stuff to come off as a carbon copy of how he draws.

# I lost a load
of pics and vids the same way. (I'm sure i heard cheering in the distance).

# Hahaha awww :(
I back everything up onto a second hard drive, so if I ever need to reformat or if anything goes tits up, it's all safe.

# The only thing
that really upset me was losing the artwork to my Tubestation video. I'd spent days on that.

Loves the compliment.

# This is a gorgeous drawing :D

# Very Nice
I pretty much taught myself to draw on Gimp and so could not get the hang of drawing with other programs.

# I think that may be the problem with me
CS feels quite slippery when drawing, but gives better brushes.

# I had a brief flirtation with Corel painter but I went back to Gimp in the end
(, Sun 27 Sep 2009, 15:08, archived)
# Oh I hated Corell painter
Especially the essentials version. For me that's the Uwe Boll of commercial drawing programs. Just horrible and cheap to work with.
