From the images it seems my screen is ok. That "Spyder 2 Express" thing looks pretty good though. Useful for work :-)

probably because I wanted to see what it looked like
and wasn't really giving a fuck about how bright it was for posting on here.
If I was taking my time, I'd have used Levels..and not waaah Brightness! :)

Not saying there was anything wrong with yours
but there are a lot of different screen calibrations out there.
I might put my SpyderII calibrator on this laptop but so far it seems ok.
