# ok
Welcome to birmingham! Have you found the good bits yet?
I'm thinking Digbeth and Moseley.

# I live in Selly Oak
So no.

I am a Post-grad tho, so it's a bit different

# Different how?
You're too busy/old/clever to go out? I'm not sure I follow.

# Oh, well I look for studenty bits
I've not been out much.
Risa, Revolution, and Gatecrasher so far.
Doing oceana next week for someones birthday.
I also have to work, and I am clever, and I like pie

# Gotcha
Med bar/ custard factory and rainbow pub (all in digbeth) are pretty good, cheapish venues that quite often have some good bands/djs, etc.
Personally, I avoid Broad Street like the plague - tawdry looking women and men in white shirts who'd like to have a fight is my general impression of that end of town.

# What's wrong with white shirts?
I am wearing one right now! Well I'm not, I'm wearing a Wrestlemania t-shirt, but I was wearing one earlier!

# White shirts
are boring at best.
But on some people, in some situations, they also act as an early warning system,
ie- it's 2am, it's cold, there are 3 guys staggering towards you wearing white shirts. Could be time to cross the road.

# So you never wear plain t-shirts at all?
Ever? Also, it depends how you ACCESORISE!

# I wear t-shirts
Some with quizzical dinos on them
Some with the word lego
Some with a panda on them
None of them are plain.

# Yeah, I can't see me going Broad st too much, only to clubs if that's where we end up
and they are usually fine on student nights.
I've heard custard factory is good, dunno bout rainbow yet.
I quite wanna go to SNOBS on a wednesday, it sounds so bad it's good.
It's annoying having to get taxis places tho, Im used to sheffield where you can walk everywhere and not fear for your life at moments

# snobs - lol
A long time ago, I was refused entry to 'alternative night' at Snobs because I wasn't a regular and I was "too alternative".
I was annoyed, because I wanted to get in and have a drink, but at the same time chuffed for out-alternativing their cheesy nite-klub.
Also a bit confused as to how one becomes a regular if you can't get in in the first place

# Haha,
I havent been, but one of my coursemates absolutly loves it.
He said he hasnt been there and not pulled.
