# I wanted to make the point
that symmetry isn't always good, but these didn't turn out bad...

edit: there isn't a bit of shopping here aside from flipping the face.

Most people you do this to turn out to be munters. That's actually science at work for you here. The more symmetrical your face, the more attractive you are. That's Miss Lohan, for those who may not know...

# agree on symmetry and attractiveness
altho I'm sure it wouldn't help some people one iota

edit: I've experimented with flipping faces. Since most people have some assymmetry, you can produce two different facial personalities from the same image. To do it justice tho, the head shot needs to be perfectly straight at the camera.

# well if you're symmetrically filled
with pimples and manky teeth, then no...

# well, I'm only speculating but
try it with anyone who is decidedly 'ugly'
(, Wed 2 Dec 2009, 1:42, archived)
# the IDEA is
that "pretty" people aren't so pretty when you do this to them. I was taken back by the fact that Miss Lohan, is still decidely doable...

# you may be right about that, attractiveness is always relative
This model normally looks very good to me. When splitting the halves, and pairing them, the matched halves look even better. Then the original pic looks like she's had a stroke or something

# It's not always easy to find head shots perfectly straight facing the camera
the slightest deviation can impart bad results in flipping halves

# interesting
I thought the bottom one still looked almost exactly like her, whereas the top didn't at all. Maybe I have a thing for 1 side of her face :-/
