They're for tunnels.They burrow down, saving us valuable effort. Plus i'm quite weak and would struggle to mine.
As a bonus, if they come up minus white stripes, they may well be coated with supercoal.
Or they might just be dirty. Either way, we get to bathe with badgers :D
