# The gif needs a tweak with the optimitisation
never use the 'Pattern' Dither instead dial in some Lossy between 10-20 and use only Diffusion dither which you can reduce to about 50% - The increase in noise from the Lossy will help break up the banding from the loss of some dithering and combined they will help reduce the file size.

# Save to Web & Devices within Photoshop - old bean
Although I have often tried to save my animation to my vibrator but apparently that device isn't supported ;)

# I save animations in imageready and just play around in the optimise window until it's small enough.

# so...
as I'm making this in flash... should I output as a gif sequence at highest res. then try and fanny about with it in Photoshop? is that the best way?

to be honest, I thought I'd wazz it up here and hope that I piqued someone's interest enough to click on the lick and see the flash one. for 300Kb more, it looks a million times better...

Cheers for the advice though!
