There's a long discussion regarding Eddie Izzardhe's delightfully evil, yet he's Eddie Izzard - hard to take him too seriously some say he looked nervous. I personally think he was great although it's a shame that nearly all his movie roles seem to cast him as a baddie.

The first serious role I ever saw him inwas playing Charlie Chaplin in "The Cat's Meow". I totally upgraded my opinion of him from "indifferent" to "impressive".

I don't think I have seen that, I'll have to have a look for it.I'm a massive fan of his stand up, but as Archie has said so eloquently, his acting has far too often suffered from him being Eddie Izzard.
