If your back is very bad this might be irrelevant, but you could always do something mental like this:

Obviously a pretty significant commitment, lots of logistics etc, but it could be an amazing thing to do until jobs exist again.
I'm thinking about it if I don't manage to get a job this year.

Lovely thought, thanks Z
Unfortunately my situation would require I sell everything and start again when I got back (my aunt is my closest relative, and not much help).

I am highly tempted by this.
One question though;
"We offer a range of Youth for Development roles across many professional skill areas including education, business & IT, communications & fundraising, community & social development, and HIV/AIDS."
How is HIV/AIDS a professional skill area? How is it professional to get sick?

It reads better like this
"We offer a range of Youth for Development roles (across many professional skill areas including education, business & IT, communications & fundraising, community & social development) and HIV/AIDS."
