# i rate them very highly, but i deal with them all the time.
even the odd bitch-nurse i've had to deal with has been professional and competent.

# So I'm mistaken?
they don't hear things backwards occasionally?
Edit: not a real question. This was a joke.

# i'm in a different country, so no comment there.
i like most of the staff i meet in healthcare, though some of the admins and peripheral staff are annoying.

# I have family in europe, so I know how good the NHS is (on the whole)
but they pull strings when they are cornered ,like rats (I guess?)

# by that I mean it's expensive to see a doctor in europe

# I wouldnt know

# wouldn't that vary hugely because of where you are and where you're from?
i don't know the intricacies of the european union in regard to intranational versus international healthcare costs nor the particularls of the charges accrued by people of member nations, but i know from travelling in many european nations that incidental costs were negligible as a foreign national. and certainly many european nations benefit from good cost : benefit ratios, with most of the nations also on the wealthy end of the global spectrum (not to mention the notion of public versus private spending which is weighted more toward collective monies covering more people).
