Both Darling and Osbourne started banging on about it was their top priority and would ring fence cash for it.
Vince goes, "It would irresponsible of me to make cast iron promises about supporting certain sectors, because that means you will neglect other sectors such as policing, transport, education... etc"
Public hears: Lib Dems won't support NHS.
He did say they would cut income tax for lower earners, but unfortunately he fluffed the line and I don't think anyone heard it
