Anyone else see the Chancellor's debate last night? 12 minutes before they started getting childish. I was a little disappointed. Tho Darling did pown Osborne at one point, but Vince came out on top, easily

They should all just be honest and meet behind the bike sheds for a massive fight.
Harriet Harman and Anne Widdecombe can scream support from the sidelines and occassionally belt those who come too close with their handbags.

Vince was very honest last night
and thus did the Libs no favours whatsoever

Did he say
"Umm ... well ... we'll just try to be really nice to people, because people are actually really nice, you just need to understand them more, and my anal chakra is aligned with Jupiter so I've got Sagitarrius in the ascendent, which means basically I'm creative, imaginative and forgiving." and other such utter, utter bollocks?

Someone asked what gaurantees he could make re the NHS
Both Darling and Osbourne started banging on about it was their top priority and would ring fence cash for it. Vince goes, "It would irresponsible of me to make cast iron promises about supporting certain sectors, because that means you will neglect other sectors such as policing, transport, education... etc"
Public hears: Lib Dems won't support NHS.
He did say they would cut income tax for lower earners, but unfortunately he fluffed the line and I don't think anyone heard it

ha, I thought Osborne was awful
he was bit reticent on bankers' bonuses - he'd never do his mates out of a bit of cash
