They come from a few models - Emily Marilyn does fantastic shoots for source stuff though often has blonde hair. I use quite a few clothes sites though, cut and paste the pictures first, then colour, then convert to vectors. I'd do different colour hair but trying to use as few colours as possible.

Edit: Oh, and Shannon Brooke does some nice photos for source too.
