You shake the window to make all the other windows minimiseif you want to snap the window to an edge you drag it to an edge and it's snaps in place.

It's all useless gimmickryI upgraded to 7 on my laptop as it was a free upgrade - it makes IE crash more often than usual and the only cool bit it being able to drag program icons to a quick launch area at the foot of the screen but really that's a gimmick too.
