To be honest i don't know much about cycling, i only posted this as i thought some here may be interested in it.
Armstrong is the guy all of us who know fuck all about the sport know of.
I do recall something about him pretty much financially ruining the life of the wife of one of his ex cycling partners due to his constant denials of being a doper, he really fucked over a lot of people and i find his denial (even taking papers to court due to their accusations) extraordinary.
Don't know anything about where the money from this will go, i'm not going to be going to see it regardless.

He was obnoxious to the point of being legendary on the roads above Monaco and Nice.
I'd have clients, retired old duffers mostly, coming to the bike shop and talking to my boss about how some crazy American and his friend in a car had harassed them of a road because he did not want any fans watching him train and asking him for autographs yadada...
Little did he know that quite a few of these old duffer were in fact ex racers that had rubbed shoulders with all the greats from the 1950's and 60's and who did not give a shit about Armestrongue and HuSese-postale.
