This is a normal post Every time I drive into Belgium the roads at the border suddenly turn really crap.
Then leaving Belgium the roads turn good again.

I am always shocked at the shitness of Belgium's infrastructure especially their motorways with rutted lanes which seem permanently closed. I've had the misfortune to stay in Charleroi several times. A place so run down and grim you instantly want to self harm. Makes Tilbury look like Beverly Hills
