Ah good bear.
Personally I would have preferred it to stamp the crow's head in. You can hear the other crows in the background getting all worked up because one of their number is in trouble. They do that. I shot one off the roof of my Dad's house with an airgun once, and the sky was suddenly full of the cacking cunts. CaC.

I once shot a rook with a bow and arrow killed it dead, then i really lost the plot and took out a bishop
finally i had my last target in sight and as i drew back the bow string to let fly an arrow straight and true at the king, i was thwarted in my efforts by the pesky queen. at my interrogation the knight from the castle asked my why i did it , and i said i didnt know i just felt compelled to take these actions, i said that some times i felt like a pawn in a game i didnt understand.
*legs it to sound of murrey head

What a big fluffy
The bit where the bear put the startled crow down and wanders off to indulge in that apple was sublime.
The crow comes to and lies there quite clearly going: "What the fucking hell just happened! Fuck me i'm alive."

It did give the crow a big unnecessary yank.
It looked like some sort of death rip to me, and the crow stayed very still afterwards, which probably saved its life. Bear probably thought it had killed it.

No, the big fluffy bear gave the poor crow the slap of life
because it was happy and content with the world because it had a sensational apple over on the left somewhere

No.
The crow secretly is into rough stuff and was waiting for some sexy time to happen.

Do you think it was startled because it was waiting for the bear to shove the apple up it's arse?
But nothing happened because one of the crow's foul mouthed mates called the bear's mum a cunt or something and the bear went off to sulk?

Yes, I genuinely believe it to be this way.

if you listen closely the crow offers the bear an apple if it helps it...then the bear asks "where is it?"and wanders off to get it

Fucking right.
Golden delicious are the worst type of apple. Made worse by the fact that even their name is a lie :(

I'm guessing the crow was horribly oily
And the apple was to get the nasty taste out of his mouth,
