It's childlike: a joke to them, completely without reason. A Russian chick I knew when I was working in Siberia came over to stay in London. She walked around open mouthed saying "Mr Mann, you have so many n****rs in London!" Not even aware that that's a tad racist. To them it's seems less of a intended insult than an observation. Black people are n****rs and they eat bananas. What's to get upset about?
