Hang on. What a moral beacon Kieren Parsons (convicted of assaulting a woman) is. He's a low-level cunt. No degree in law, no qualifications to do what he's doing etc. He's ruined a lot of innocent people's lives. Let's just be clear that "innocent" means "not proven guilty in a court of law" and not "chased down a street being called a Paedo, filmed and causing the victim's wife to attempt suicide with an overdose of pills". There are possible cunts on the other side of the equation, but Mr Hunter has proven that he's a cunt of the highest rank.

No it doesn't. The way you've phrased it, innocence would simply mean not having been found guilty yet. (Indeed, Scottish law has "not proven" as a possible verdict - it's analogous to "we don't believe you're innocent, but can't prove the case one way or the other".) Things are much simpler than you imply: innocence is the default: while someone against who the case hasn't been proved is legally innocent, their innocence doesn't depend on the case not having been proven.

I guess I'm saying that it's not up to Homer Stimson to declare who is guilty of quite horrible crimes. By doing so, it would appear that he's taking the law into his own hands and inciting mob justice. These put-upon people would surely be within their rights to sue him for slander/libel or whatever.
I'm sure Stimson will fight the moral high ground ("they're paedos innit?") until kingdom come but he's got to start acting within the law.
EDIT: This bloke worked for my Dad. LOL. articles.baltimoresun.com/2002-08-08/news/0208080266_1_carroll-county-burton-frederick-county

what you're getting at is that he should make a citizen's arrest if he believes an offence has been committed, but instead he finds these men guilty without due process and in place of the courts. He is acting as undercover policeman as well as judge and jury with no qualifications, training, supervision, nor authority.
