Does it have an authentic mode where you sit waiting for the game to load for 15 minutes
before being greeted by LOAD ERROR! (or whatever the Speccy used to say, I was a C64 chap myself)

15 minutes!!!
That's near 4G speed compared to the time some games took to load. Seem to recall Jet Set Willy took 30 minutes+

30 minutes? Ha! We used to pray to Gay Satan for 30 minutes.
It took Horace Goes On The Dole a full fortnight to load. And even when it did - which was as rare as hen's teeth - the computer would implode and take the whole street with it back to the level of hell it whence came.

Luxury!
We were so poor we had to memorise the machine code then recreate the appropriate tones and noises with only a microphone, car battery and jump leads attached to our testicles.
Manic Miner would take 2 months to load, and when or even if it did we were raided by the thatchers private police for striking and beaten within an inch of our lives.
