There was an excellent documentary about The Shaggs.
It was on Radio4 and may still be archived on the website, I'm too lazy to check. It even had interviews with the Shaggers themselves. Very interesting I thought.

There was a movie of some sort about it too
They were locked in a house, told to write music by their dad, and this is what happens if you teach yourself music.
