Personally I prefer the more rugged handling and driving of older performance cars (I think the reviewer thought so too, but didn't say it)

It's the difference, I think, between feeling the driving itself and operating some safety censored fly by wire computer corrected controls and going quickly....

The latter can make the experience great - but deep down you know you aint doing it. Even if the servos are millimeter accurate and sub 5ms responsive, you still know deep down that your right foot isn't pushing a cable which is attached to a valve which directly effect air and fuel into to a carburetor / fuel injector.
