This is a normal post no drug scandals at all, not even once!
i didn't know "jungle" was a form of "house", rather a form of "dance" isn't it? I hate jungle music, totally different from house.

This is a normal post "House"....
.... was shortened from "Warehouse". Back in the late 80's when you went to record shops you asked for Warehouse music, that got shortened to "House". So technically "house" would have covered a shite load of music genres back then........ I know anorak alert! ;)

This is a normal post Unfortunately not
back then my eldest brother had like 20 speakers wired up to his stereo and I suffered from intense migraines, definitely not what I wanted to hear! haha I remember collapsing outside on the grass down the road just to get away from it. :(

This is a normal post Acid house was where it was at.
jungle came a bit later and was more commercial. But the down side was it was moody, not happy and fun like acid house. The dance scene changed after 95. Became much more commercial and that was that. We ended up with Fat Boy Slim (ex-house Martin) as the Don of house, not Man Paris.

This is a normal post And Jungle got its name....
..from an episode pf Coronation Street where Reg Holdsworth described hearing some dance / house (whatever) as 'sounding like jungle music'*

*may or may not be true
