Rather, Kong and Avatar marked the point where CGI took over and whole scenes would be rendered in block busters. Before, as in the earlier Hulk, less realistic CGI placed in more realistic filmed sequences actually made more believable films. I tend to argee with this.
Not to the point of making a YouTube video about it though, so meh.

oh yeah, my mistake, thought he was wanking over Peter Jackson.
there are believable all cg sequences out there though, just can't remember or find any good examples to back that up :D

Yeah I believe there is.
I can kind of see the point though. It's the ones that shiny it up too much. The real world is fucking shit and boring so to make it realistic, generally that's what your backdrop has to be.
