This is a normal post Matters to me when i'm being asked to vote for their political parties every 4 or so years.
Smiths party allegiance also mattered to clegg when more accusations were being slung about him before the election.

Clegg made sure to point out smith was a Labour M.P at the time of the abuse.

This is a normal post Why?
Do you think the thoughts and actions of an individual dictate those of all his or her associations? Jimmy Saville presented Top of the Pops. Does that mean everyone who presented it was a massive nonce? Should you have not watched it either, because you will be supporting the nonces and their cleverly crafted agenda. Watching it might even make you a nonce by association!

This is a normal post I think the actions of a party and how they protect those accused of serious crimes is very important.
TOTP?
Not just by Saville, but other presenters (throw a rock in 70's radio 1 pool of djs), performers and even crew have been implicated and last I looked investigations were still happening into that show.

This is a normal post Yes TOTP is probably a bad analogy.
Still I don't think the actions of individuals are anything to do with their associations/workplaces etc etc...

These crimes should be pointed at individuals and those who protected them, disregarding their association. It's just a personal opinion, I wouldn't want to taint the many with the actions of the few.

This is a normal post Ok here's one for you.
Members of the catholic church has been accused of child abuse, senior members have been accused of covering it up.

There's also reports of abuse in the methodist and Church of England.

When reporting on this should the nature of the church be mentioned?
Or should it be redacted in order to not taint other believers of the same church?

This is a normal post Yes it shouldn't be considered.
A VIP nonce abuses a position of power. That powerful position is relevant, although their beliefs or ideals are not.

This is a normal post Shall we agree to disagree?
We're running out of horizontal screen space and I hate it when it starts stacking the words in a message.
