I wonder if GDP is a essentially a sleight of hand as it doesn't take in account distribution of wealth
It could all mostly go to one guy and everyone (except that guy) would have a pretty miserable time.
Dunno what a better measure would be. Er.. % of people who fall asleep at night reasonably confident, baring an act of God, tomorrow is going to be OK?
