I find its impact more than a little offset by the context.
God bothering talk is really not how to deal with these whiny cunts. The answer, as is so often the case, is extreme violence.

You shouldn't need a sermon to tell you not to act like a cunt, as the article says, your conscience is responsible for that. Regardless of the religious context, I agree with the sentiment.

I was surprised to find myself siding with the Christians,
but in fairness, he didn't really push the God bothering stuff too hard - just made some valid points, but set in the context of moderate religious morality (which at its core is essentially the same as the majority of people on this planet - be nice to each other and don't be a dick).

I think you're right. We have a generation growing up not knowing what it's like to get a punch on the conk.
When I were a lad there were none of this safe space rubbish. If you disagreed with someone's opinion you could either engage them in reasoned intellectual debate until one of you changed your position or give them a dead arm.
