This is a link post This is not day care. This is a university.
University president pens a concise but powerful rebuttal of all this safe-space nonsense that seems to be going down on university campuses.

This is a normal post I find its impact more than a little offset by the context.
God bothering talk is really not how to deal with these whiny cunts. The answer, as is so often the case, is extreme violence.

You shouldn't need a sermon to tell you not to act like a cunt, as the article says, your conscience is responsible for that. Regardless of the religious context, I agree with the sentiment.

Pretty good summing up of my own theological position, too...

This is a normal post I was surprised to find myself siding with the Christians,
but in fairness, he didn't really push the God bothering stuff too hard - just made some valid points, but set in the context of moderate religious morality (which at its core is essentially the same as the majority of people on this planet - be nice to each other and don't be a dick).

This is a normal post I think you're right. We have a generation growing up not knowing what it's like to get a punch on the conk.
When I were a lad there were none of this safe space rubbish. If you disagreed with someone's opinion you could either engage them in reasoned intellectual debate until one of you changed your position or give them a dead arm.

This is a normal post I went to Carshalton college.
One time a light fitting fell on my head.

I now realise this was the cause of my subsequent weight gain and hair loss.

Wah! Etc.

Im fed up with people being "offended" by everything and anything ... it seems people search for things that may possibly offend them, like theyre a power hunt

This is a normal post don't get me started on the triggering nonsense
Jazz hands instead of applause, safe spaces and empty-chairing anyone with a point of view that you don't agree with, even if it is perfectly valid and legal. They can't differentiate between ideas and people and mindlessly repeat the mantra.

This is a normal post And coincidentally
clearly sets the tone of the Universities attitude and response to any other objections to future sexist, homophobic, xenophobic and misogynistic nonsense that may emerge from the same pulpit.

That is not a University. That is a day care centre.
