This is a normal post I'm more worried about the battle system
I much prefer the turn based combat of the original rather than the more frantic real time combat of the later games - will be interesting to see which they go for, or indeed an option for both.

I gather from an early review that it's still turn-based and the jumping about is not player-controlled. Just there for a bit of excitement supposedly.

This is a normal post Just remember with 4k tvs it's all about the input lag
You get one with high input lag and you're going to be unable to play games. Make sure it's under 10ms ideally.

Great, although actually not AS great as it's hoped, also the battle system etc. could let it down. I feel that if it detracts too far from the original, you could just be left with eye candy.

Do they make it 100% accurate to the original to please the fans, or accept that the game is nearly 20 years old and update it accordingly?

Depends on how much money they want to chuck at it I guess, but I'm liking what I see so far.
