Just like
All commercial 'news' services here in Australia. Serving their masters and eroding true political debate/growth. That 'presenter' should be sacked. She's also a frightful uggo to boot (mild slur - couldn't help myself).

The whole demanding that someone be sacked when they say something that you don't like shtick is unbearably tedious

Surely it's not a question of whether or not they like it
It's whether there is a clear and demonstrable bias by a source that should - in effect - be neutral. I agree with your statement overall, but in this case it's all a bit 'pinko scum' for my liking. At least with something like the Telegraph you know what you're getting into, though I feel C4 reaches a wider audience and should adjust its position accordingly.

They also got the title of Peter Taafe's party incorrect. Their full name is the Socialist Party of England & Wales
or SPEW. This is actually true because no-one on the left has ever heard of acronyms.

I get all my news from the sages on Twitter.

Life is WAY better that way
I watch the odd show I fancy, other than that, you get soo much more done too. And am at least 80% less of an angry person. :D

I'm so glad I don't have a tv
80% reduction in my anger too, but the remaining 20% is more than enough. When my grandmother came round, she couldn't understand why I wouldn't have a tv unless I couldn't afford one.

BIG EDIT: I used to have a standard digital TV receiver (and before that, in a previous flat, bog-standard Sky), but even that would result in me staring slack-jawed at whatever E4 or Dave was shoving into my face at 11pm, like re-runs of Friends or some shite like Two Broke Girls, too jaded and Pavlov'd to jack it in. I moved to flat without a working aerial and quickly broke the habit of broadcast TV (the saving of a license fee was nice too). If something interesting comes up there are always ways to stream it, and Netflix tends to throw up some decent stuff - never would have heard of Bojack Horseman, Daredevil or Kimmy Shmidt otherwise. So yeah, fuck TV, it's a lamely dying gazelle in the jaws of on-demand. HTH.
SMALLER EDIT: That said, the BBC has grown a bit of a pair lately. I really enjoyed The Night Manager, The Secret Agent and Versailles, proper-budget HBO-contending stuff. Dunno what they're up to with iPlayer as of September, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Have you watched Stranger Things?
I thought it was quite good and I think it's a Netflix show.

I watched the first episode
And despite a kinda milfy Winona (and her big brown beaver), I wasn't hooked. A lot of people seem to be raving about it for its 80's references. Yeah, I was there, I was a similar age to the kids in the programme. I guess I got my fill at the time and the story didn't really grab me. Eh, to each his own..
