Been waiting for a decent electric motorbike for a while.
One of the big problems is the battery weight. In a car you can have it very low which makes for excellent handling; on a bike the 'obvious' place is the fuel tank which leads to a very strange balance.

I want one.
I was looking at trials bikes. Without the noise and fuel, these are appealing. Brakes on the bars. I guess they don't have a clutch either.

I think that absolute weight is more of a problem than where it is
The TT Zero bikes I've seen have the battery replacing the engine and fuel tank, and the record average lap speed is 119mph vs. the overall record of 134mph so they aren't too shabby at going round corners!
The Mugen TT Zero bike weighs 250kg though - I can't help thinking that the current battery technology is still going to mean a very heavy bike if it's going to have decent range.
