This experiment, where a dog's head is successfully transplanted onto another dog successfully.
The experiment leaves a dog with two heads, sharing bloodstreams and lungs.
Assuming that he hasn't just tucked the puppy's body under the skin (and I don't believe that he has) it's pretty astounding.

that is interesting. But the thing is, it's the whole dog that's making the heart beat as it won't be connected via it's spinal cord, as it doesn't have one.
