It took months but it's worth keeping badgering them with an invoice

still, better than the £100 they offered me to begin with.
The Sun offered £200 but were at least decent enough to take it straight down when I said no again

but since they used your work despite your refusal you persistently chased them for your share of the profit made from racist propaganda, on principle.

I said no they can't use it simply because I didn't want them to use/profit from it

Just said no when they asked.
The guardian didn't ask/use it so I never considered that.
I let various science sites use it if that helps.

or was it an embedded tweet?
Surely you can only get cash if they host it themselves, right?
Recently, DM, The Sun, and a few other have been noticeably nicking things from reddit subs, especially /r/CasualUK and some people have got a few hundred. Someone else created an offensive watermark, but I think it's better to just let them nick the pictures for a payday.

They asked if they could use it, I said no, it then appeared on their site so I told them to take it down, but they kept running it for 24 hours.

They hosted his photos for another article, as well as one of mine that someone else tweeted.

Can you do me a favour, and PM me some pointers on what the gig is, then I can forward that info to everyone affected.
Cheers!

Include a copy of the request to use the photos
The reply saying they can't
Then the time the article went up.
Send it to [email protected]
They'll probably offer £100 first. You can expect them to go quiet for weeks at a time
