All their wildlife is deadly and vindictive.
“See that cute koala, don’t turn your back on it because it will fucking kill you... etc”
So yeah, accelerating natural selection (see Chernobyl, where it’s dogs, deers, catfish and ponies) is great dumb yet brilliant idea.
