Trying to understand if this is a genuine grevience or just a power play by the SNP
Currently these powers are controlled by the EU, most will go straight to the devolved parliment whilst some will be held by Westminster for a while.
Hows this a grab for power? Are the SNP happy to have the EU controlling them but not Westminster?

Maybe he can explain things.
Also Bercow is increasingly looking like he should be of a park bench drinking Stella shouting at girls.

I can’t comment on the power grab business itself.
But the way the Scots parts of the bill were debated yesterday was indeed a piss-take. They were only given a half hour or so for all the devolved bits and someone from the cabinet took up all the time; you could be justified in thinking it was an intentional filibuster.
The gov are naturally trying to say it was labour’s fault for demanding all the divisions, which take up a ludicrous amount of time, but the fact remains that they still voted on only a fraction of the lords’ amendments.
I’m quite a fan of Bercow, but I do think the speaker should be at least able to chastise MPs who are obviously taking the piss by talking out the clock.
