She isn't a vulnerable small child.

Who's been flung on to the word stage to go toe to toe with some of the most powerful people and corporations on the planet.
That makes her seem pretty vulnerable to me.

That line of activism can be dangerous.
Deaths are reported to have doubled over the last 15 years.
Kind of all the more reason to respect her no?

It's just that most cunts making that point are also abusing her appearance and sharing clickbait articles attacking things other than her message at the same time. Call me cynical, but that makes me think they may not actually care about her well-being at all.

a good point the other day.
A lot of the same people who claim Greta Thunberg at 16 is under the influence of adults and is not responsible for her own words are the same people who claim that Shamima Begum was acting under her own judgement when she ran away at 15 to be an Isis bride...
Can't have it both ways.

Because they are two completely different people and situations

the 15-year-old is completely cognizant of their situation, yet the 16-year-old is under the influence of adults and it does not depend on whether you agree with the conclusions they draw.
One is a terrorist and the other is a puppet of the environmentalists.
You are totally right.

Two different people - think differently, different culturally, different situations, different levels of independence, different thought processes. You can't just compare based on the fact that they are almost the same age. Also, I am not suggesting that either was a puppet or had their own individual thoughts. I am just stating that the article you read comparing them is intrinsically flawed
