This is a normal post Didn't she flounce from Labour when Ed Milliband was leader?

(, Fri 22 Nov 2019, 11:28, Reply)
This is a normal post seems you're right
"due to Miliband's support for a parliamentary motion in favour of recognising the State of Palestine"

Hmm

This is a normal post isn't flouncing twice offside?
*consults rulebook*

This is a normal post So the alternative
is to still vote for extremists, but on the right, who are the party supported by Tommy Robinson?

She eliminated Labour, and Green leaving only the Tories (Endorsed by Tommy Robinson) and the Lib Dems, who have no hope of power and would by default mean the Tories (Endorsed by Tommy Robinson).

Someone on here said they would rather be a cunt than stupid.

They seem to forget it is possible to be a stupid cunt...

This is a normal post Right, so we shouldn't vote Tory because Tommy Robinson endorsed them?
Should we stop eating sandwiches because Tommy Robinson enjoys a wee cheese piece?
Should we boycott Microsoft because he owns an XBOX?

Does anybody outside the far right really give a fuck what Tommy Robinson thinks these days?

You're correct, it's entirely possible to be a stupid cunt.
(, Fri 22 Nov 2019, 12:42, Reply)
This is a normal post That's right.
Everyone on the left should stop breathing because Tommy Robinson enjoys it every day.

This is a normal post always a good idea to check where the thick racists are putting their votes I find
Saves a lot of time, whittling down the options

just #1 with racists...

Right?

This is a normal post "I'm voting Labour because a thick racist and some of his pals are voting Conservative"
Righto. In fairness, you sound like exactly the kind of halfwit Millenial demographic that Corbyn is targeting for votes this time round. They managed to get that bit right, at least.
(, Fri 22 Nov 2019, 15:54, Reply)
This is a normal post More like
I'm not voting conservative partly because they are courting the votes of thick racists as evidenced by the support of Tommy Robinson and by their own claim making the UK into a hostile environment for anyone foreign, which is misinterpreted by thick racists as anyone who is not white leading to a doubling of hate crimes. The tories are making lies the order of the day in parliament, as well as stripping the country of essential services resulting in a situation where among other negative effects, 17,000 disabled people have died while waiting for benefits and the suicide rate amongst them has doubled. There are pages of examples I could give. But I am sure you don't care about any of that.

And while there is no disagreement that Jeremy Corbyn has barely any clue what he is doing, Labour is leaps and bounds better than the assholes on the other side. It's not about voting for Labour, they have done nothing to deserve anyone's vote, it's about stopping the deconstruction of civil politics as we know it by voting against the tories.
(, Sat 23 Nov 2019, 21:26, Reply)
This is a normal post Well, yes actually
If your chosen political party has the publicly stated support of essentially the BNP, you really should take a long hard think before voting for them unless you support the goals and aims of the BNP and right-wing nationalistic racists. In which case, crack on.

A cheese sandwich is not a political party. Rather desperate of you to make that comparison.
(, Fri 22 Nov 2019, 15:26, Reply)
This is a normal post Have the Conservatives publicly stated their support for Tommy Robinson?
Have I missed something?

For fuck's sake, Benny. That's a stretch, even for you.

(, Fri 22 Nov 2019, 17:30, Reply)
This is a normal post No need for a conspiracy if your objectives coincide is there?
His endorsement gains them his supporters' votes what would a reciprocal endorsement gain them? Is he even standing in the election?

This is a normal post I think the stupid and cunt is the most important part of this
I've always kept an axiom that I can do stupid things, and I can do evil things.
But I try really hard to avoid combining the two. Instant karma tends to follow.

This is a normal post she doesnt want taxes to go up (for anyone it seems) or spending on public services to increase
Hard to imagine why she ever identified as a socialist really
(, Fri 22 Nov 2019, 12:45, Reply)
This is a normal post It has the flow, pace and drama of awkward improv
It's certainly an odd choice making the free broadband her last point. Undoubtedly a flawed policy but if the whole sketch was leading up not to a savage climax but a halting ad-hominem about one man's technical skills I'm not sure quite who they think is going to be impressed.
(, Fri 22 Nov 2019, 14:02, Reply)
This is a normal post she might as well not be in character I reckon
These are just her views, unmediated by any humorous intent

This is a normal post But
surely you could still get private internet in the same way that having a public health service does not block you from seeing a private doctor?
(, Fri 22 Nov 2019, 15:30, Reply)
This is a normal post There's the kernel of a good idea there
but the takeover of a private company rarely goes smoothly, not least because when you go in to buy out a private concern you're pitting jobsworth civil servants against professional commercial sharks. Remember the Royal Mail share sale? It's an enormous undertaking even without the over-ambitious national roll-out plan. They'd be better off offering loans (or even just grants) to the existing company, with bonuses for hitting deadlines and penalties for missing backstop deadlines. At least there might be a gnat's chance in Hell of us seeing the promised result.

they are planning on renationalising BT?
(, Fri 22 Nov 2019, 15:42, Reply)
This is a normal post Just OpenReach I think
But yes, hilariously, it's another ping-pong renationalisation. I think they should bring back the dotted T logo. And Jimmy Savile. Or was that British Rail? It all fades into one at my age.

This is a normal post Yeah, that £30 a month they'll save me by giving me free broadband will go a long way...
And fuck all the people who work for ISP's! Yeah! Fuck you, you fucking nerds with fairly well paid jobs!

Sigh. This election is greatly conflicting, everyone in the meeja is saying that things are shit for people and foodbanks are thriving etc, but for me and my mates things seem to be just fine- in fact I'd dare say things are better than they've ever been for us.

The only people who are in the shit seem to be the ones who want to do fuck all and still want to get everything that working folks have handed to them for free with a fucking bow on it. I know some people would say that this kind of thinking makes me a Tory, but I'm not- I genuinely couldn't give a fuck about *any* of the lying bastards who are either in charge, or are desperate to be in charge. I'm just looking out for number one.

Seems to me that if you're prepared to work- and work hard- things will be just fine. You'll have a warm house, a full belly and a fucking enormous TV.

The one thing i really think we could all do with is less politicians overall, but that's a story for another day.

That's right up Corbyn's street.

This is a normal post Dare to dream of a country where your vote actually counted.
Think of the country in Europe seen as most successful: Germany, where Angela Merkel has presided over a coalition government elected by proportional representation for years. Think of green MEPs at the heart of European decision making (or nazi nationalists if that's your thing) but they all have a voice.
We need to do away with the divisive, two party bullshit deadlocking this country and have a system of true proportional representation.
The ONLY party that stands a chance of delivering that is if the Lib Dems hold the keys to power sharing. Probably in an alliance with SNP, Plaid Cymru et al, but if they got more seats that Corbyn could form a majority coalition, stop Brexit (for the time being; PR means the Brexit party will still be a force in future) and we might just see some representative democracy for a change.
