This is a normal post Seriously, though.
If you had been following the news at all, you'd realise that the spread of the virus is completely inevitable now. Wearing masks/washing your hands might help delay the spread, but unless you plan on completely isolating yourself from society for the next 12 months, it's literally going to be the toss of a coin whether you catch it or not. Whether you choose to panic about that or not is up to you. But it makes about as much sense as panicking about a gigantic asteroid on a direct and unavoidable collision course with earth. It's a bit rubbish, but really, it's a situation that realistically is entirely out of your control.

Mind you, how do you reason somebody out of something they didn't reason themselves into?

This is a normal post delaying the spread is important so our health systems have a better chance of being able to cope
These actions are meant to help protect the herd, civil society etc not you as an individual

This is a normal post I agree completely. And we should do everything we reasonably can to delay the spread.
The biggest threat this disease poses isn't individuals catching it, but many individuals catching it at once and oversaturating our hospitals.

L E T S P A N I C, seems a lot more concerned with not catching the virus at all, though. Which is just silly.

This is a normal post I agree with most of what you say mr penis
Just trying to point out some facts. Unfortunately people have their own views on reality and my completely logical one falls on deaf ears.
